Energetic Release Techniques (ERT)

ERT is a very effective way to resolve physical, emotional and energetic trauma and symptoms that follow them like anxiety, depression, stress, pain, anger, nightmares, etc. Many of the traumas have been long forgotten by you, but your body continues to remember and remind you through your symptoms.

Before you start ERT rate yourself on the severity of your issues on the scale from "zero" to "10"(where "zero" is no complains, and "ten" is the most severe you ever had). Record your main complain and a negative score for each one of them.

I will help you to find your wounded energetic organ, taping point, color, and sensitive emotion.

Use as many of the below listed interventions as you can. If it is difficult, just use 2-3 of them. Most importantly, focus on the negative thoughts, feelings and emotions manifesting you problem. The more vividly you will focus on them, the easier it will be to resolve your issue.

ERT procedure:

  • Focus intently on all the negative thoughts, images( can be visual, sounds or smells), emotions (like anger, resentment, sadness, anxiety, etc) and sensations (pain, tension, restlessness, heat or cold, etc) in your body caused by them.
  • Emotion of ………(resentment)
  • Hold your energetic organ….
  • Tap yourself it the rhythm of heart beat on a point of …….
  • Hum steady sound coming from your nose and throat
  • (Optional) Move your eyes right to left (if you feel coordinated enough. You can ask somebody help you, by moving palm 10-20 inches in front of your eyes and you will follow his hand.
  • (Optional) (Put glasses or cloth of (     ) color during the week and particularly during ERT.
Do exercise for about 35–60 seconds.

How to know if you are doing it right?

  1. You may experience a sense of relaxation (you are entering a Yin state).
  2. Or you may experience different sensations in your body like tingling, restlessness, pain or as if something is moving, usually down to your feet.
  3. Or you may see flashbacks of old memories and experiences in your memory, particularly those long forgotten images from your childhood.
  4. Old emotions and complains "magically" disappear.
  5. You begin to feel a resolution, positive and empowering images and thoughts.
It is your body going through a healing response, processing old, toxic energies are reactions.

Take a breathing break from ERT for 1-5 minutes:

  • Breath very deeply and slowly
  • Take a pause between breathing in and out.
  • As you inhale, imagine as if a positive, healing energy is entering you through the top of your head, spreading through every cell of your body.
  • Pause at the end of inhalation; gather all the negative energy, thoughts, feelings, emotions and sensations.
  • Breathe out very slowly and imagine that you are letting go of all the negative energy. Feel the wave of negative energy going down through your body and out through your toes.
  • As you exhale say to yourself: "Letting it go!". Feel how all your negative emotions, sensations and feelings are leaving you.
  • At the end of exhalation, take a break and hold your breath.
  • Take five to ten deep healing breaths.

Repeating ERT procedure

  • Notice what negative thoughts, images, feelings and sensations you still are holding too.
  • Intensely focus on what is left unresolved. Begin round two of taping, humming and eye moments.
  • Repeat breathing and ERT procedure twice.

How to finish and how often repeat the procedure:

  • After you did ERT and breathing three times and felt some improvement or change, find out how your score of negative emotions have changed.
  • Assess it on the scale of zero to ten. Record your results and what is still left. It will be your job to focus on those negative things next time, helping your body to resolve it.
  • If you can, relax for 10-30 minutes, or take a nap.
  • Make written notes of your experience, thoughts, images, and sensations. Share it with me when you come for the next appointment.
  • It is desirable to repeat a procedure every day, once or twice per day.
  • The more you do it, the faster you will be able to resolve your issue.
  • It is all in your hands!!!
