I began my career as a traditional psychiatrist treating patients in hospitals, clinics, and private practice. Despite using the latest medications and following best practices, my patients weren’t getting well. I saw relapses, side effects, and emotional numbness—and I knew there had to be a better way.
Dr. Gurevich’s search for more effective, compassionate care led him to acupuncture, meditation, mind-body practices, and integrative healing systems. After a transformative retreat in 1994, he decided to take “the road less traveled”—incorporating holistic tools that help the whole person heal, not just suppress symptoms.
